Crow’s Nest (Hotel Captain Cook, 939 West 5th Avenue, Anchorage) — located atop Tower III of downtown Anchorage’s luxurious Hotel Captain Cook, Crow’s Nest offers 360-degree views and a very pricey menu from chef Reuben Gerber (consisting of various French and American dishes). Signature dishes include Alaskan black cod with tempranillo-braised oxtail and confit of rabbit thigh served with local produce. There is also a cellar filled with over 10,000 bottles of fine wines.
